However you've found us we're grateful that you've taken the time to have a look.
Right now, there's not a lot to see unfortunately, as we're still in the process of putting this site together for our up and coming launch which will be announced within the next couple of weeks - as long as we don't encounter any unforeseen problems along the way.
What can you expect to see after the launch?
Not so much see, as hear actually. Alien Acid is an internet based radio station. In the first few months pre-launch, we shall be posting very short shows that you can listen to online.
Our main focus is to play music by unsigned bands and accomplished artists that allow us express permission to play their musical creations. Right now, we're in the process of applying for the appropriate licenses to do so.
Fast forward to 2009 and while keeping our focus on supporting unsigned bands, we shall diversify into playing commercially available music. We're also aiming to become a live, 24 hour station broadcasting to the World via the internet. Time wise, we'll be working on GMT and although we try hard not to do time checks throughout the day's broadcasting, there has to be a timetable.
Alien Acid will also provide music reviews, gig reviews, picture galleries, videos and band bio's. We'll also have a featured band or artist on the site every month from launch.
The future of Alien Acid
Alien Acid is advertisers and sponsors who would like to support what we're doing and reach a potentially large audience. In the first 14 days of this website going live, we've had way over 1,000 hits and rising. If you've got a marketing budget don't do anything with it until you've had a word with us about our introductory offers. Contact us for more details.
There will also be some very discrete adverts placed around the site. If you're interested in advertising on the site, within our shows or even sponsoring the site or a particular show, please download our advertising package. (Coming soon!)
We're not going to harp on about this too much, but the success of Alien Acid rests on finances.
Traditionally, internet radio is free to listen to and we want to keep it that way, however producing radio is very costly - even on the internet. Please do support our advertisers and sponsors by taking the time to have a look at what they offer.
